I want you to see all of this clearly, because together these stories paint a single picture: God is on the move, and no power on earth can stop what He has set in motion.

This week we will walk through each of these stories with pastoral eyes, and then close with a devotion on revival — what it looks like, where it is happening, and what it means for you. ⛺ The Tent Revival Movement Sweeping America in 2026

Something extraordinary is happening in fields and fairgrounds across the United States. A tent revival movement, reminiscent of the Great Awakenings of past centuries, is spreading from coast to coast — and the results are impossible to ignore. Led by Dr. Braden Andersen, a former primary care physician who left medicine in 2022 after witnessing the power of the Holy Spirit at early open-air meetings, the Jesus Tent Revival has now baptized more than 3,000 people and is planning events in nearly 200 additional cities. In one weekend alone in New Albany, Indiana, over 300 people were baptized.

What makes this movement distinct is what it refuses to do. There are no tickets, no offerings passed around, no celebrity worship bands, and no production budgets. Just a tent, an open Bible, and a preacher. College students stand next to senior citizens. The unchurched stand shoulder to shoulder with deacons. This radical accessibility is precisely what strips away the barriers that keep people from showing up. The companion organization United to Revive is working alongside similar movements to unite believers across denominational lines, focusing on serving communities rather than building institutions. The results speak for themselves: genuine, documented transformation is happening at scale.

The data backs up what the Spirit is already showing. A February 2026 survey found that 29 percent of American adults believe a spiritual revival is coming to America. Among Generation Z, that number rises to 38 percent. The generation most written off as post-Christian is the most expectant. God has not finished with this nation. He is simply doing what He has always done — using ordinary settings and surrendered people to spark extraordinary transformation. As the writer of Hebrews reminds us, Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

📝 Mississippi Pastor Preaches the Entire Bible in 96 Hours

In Jones County, Mississippi, Pastor Matt Olson of First Baptist Church of Sharon did something that many thought was impossible. Beginning on May 30 and concluding on June 3, he preached from Genesis 1 to the final chapter of Revelation — four straight days, 96 hours, with only minimal breaks allowed under the Guinness World Record format. His final words, delivered with a voice that church staff said was actually stronger at the 40-hour mark than when he started, were simply this: “Jesus is Lord. He is worthy of every sentence I preached, every sacrifice that was made, and every step of obedience that has been taken since.” The congregation rose to their feet.

The story behind the feat is just as compelling as the feat itself. The previous year, Olson completed a missionary training exercise for hostile areas that placed him in the woods for 96 hours without a physical copy of Scripture. He had to rely on what he had memorized, and the experience showed him how much of God’s Word he had yet to hide in his heart. From that moment, he felt a calling: preach the entire Bible for those same 96 hours. Church leaders thought he was crazy. They supported him anyway. A medical team monitored his vitals around the clock, prayer teams rotated through the building without stopping, and a technical crew filmed every hour. His voice gave out in the first twelve hours and was anointed with oil for healing. It came back stronger than before.

Olson declined to submit the record to Guinness officially, explaining that he did not want the Word of God used as a publicity gimmick, and that the $16,500 adjudicator fee could be better spent elsewhere. That decision itself speaks volumes about the heart behind this effort. In an age of short attention spans and surface-level spirituality, one pastor in Mississippi stood in a pulpit for four days and proclaimed the whole counsel of God. The Word that sustained him is the same Word that sustains every believer today.

🕊️ Iranian Officials Demand Christians Surrender Church Property or Face Arrest

In one of the most alarming developments for the persecuted church in recent weeks, Iran’s Revolutionary Guards have issued demands to Christian communities to hand over church properties or face immediate arrest. CBN News reported on June 26 that Iranian officials delivered the ultimatum to churches in what human rights observers describe as an escalation of a years-long campaign to eradicate Christianity from the Islamic Republic. The move follows a documented surge in anti-Christian persecution in Iran, where security forces arrested 254 Christians in 2025 alone — nearly double the number from the prior year — and where courts have sentenced believers to combined prison terms totaling hundreds of years.

The context for this escalation matters. Following Iran’s 12-day war with Israel in 2026, the regime has publicly branded Christian converts as spies and collaborators with the West. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, which now holds dominant power in the country, has made the suppression of house churches a stated priority. Converts to Christianity face charges of “acting against national security” by participating in what authorities call “Zionist Christianity.” They cannot hold services in Farsi, cannot evangelize, and face raids, confiscation of Bibles, interrogation, and imprisonment under conditions human rights organizations have described as brutal. And yet — the church grows. Iran now has one of the fastest-growing Christian populations in the world, not in grand cathedrals, but underground, spreading quietly and carefully.

For believers in the West, this story is a call to prayer and to perspective. The same Gospel that fills fairground tents in America is the Gospel for which Iranian brothers and sisters are losing their livelihoods, their freedom, and in some cases their lives. The gates of hell shall not prevail against the Church of Jesus Christ — not in Jones County, Mississippi, not in Tehran, not anywhere. Pray for the revival fires in America. Pray with equal urgency for the hidden church of Iran.

Weekly Devotion: Revival Is Not Coming — It Is Here

“Wilt You not revive us again, That Your people may rejoice in You? Show us Your mercy, Lord, And grant us Your salvation.”

— Psalm 85:6–7 (NKJV)

For years, the prayer of the Church in America has been “Send revival, Lord.” This week, I want to suggest that God may have already answered that prayer — and the question now is whether we have eyes to see it.

Look at what has happened just in the past few weeks. Fairgrounds and open fields from Tulsa to New Albany, Indiana are filled with people who had no church, no relationship with Jesus, and no plan to get one — and they are walking out of those tents saved, water-baptized, and transformed. More than 3,000 people baptized. Three hundred in a single weekend. No tickets, no celebrity worship bands, no production budget. Just a tent, an open Bible, and the Holy Spirit moving freely. This is not a church event. This is revival.

And in Jones County, Mississippi, a pastor stood in his pulpit for 96 straight hours and preached from Genesis to Revelation without stopping. His voice gave out at hour twelve and was restored through anointing with oil. By hour forty it was stronger than when he began. The congregation prayed around the clock. Medical teams monitored his vitals. And when he finally reached the last page of the last book and declared “Jesus is Lord — He is worthy,” the building erupted. That is not a publicity stunt. That is a man so consumed by the Word of God that he could not stop until he had given all of it away. That spirit — that holy recklessness — is one of the marks of genuine revival.

Even the suffering of our brothers and sisters in Iran fits this picture. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps is now seizing church properties and threatening believers with arrest. And the church in Iran is still growing. It is the fastest-growing Christian population in the world. It grows not in spite of the pressure but, in the mysterious economy of God, partly because of it. Church history tells us this pattern is not new. Every great awakening has been accompanied by persecution somewhere. The two realities — revival fire and spiritual opposition — always rise together. You do not get one without the other.

Psalm 85 was written by people who had seen God move before and were crying out for Him to do it again. “Wilt You not revive us again?” That is not a prayer of despair. It is a prayer of faith rooted in memory — the memory of what God has already done. The Psalmist was saying: You have done this before. You can do it again. And God’s answer, across the centuries and in our own moment, is yes. He is doing it again, right now, in tents and fairgrounds and underground apartments. The question is not whether revival is coming. The question is whether you are going to step into what God is already doing.

Revival is not a feeling. It is not a conference. It is not something that happens to other people in other generations while we read about it in history books. Revival is the sovereign move of God through surrendered people who make themselves available. A physician who left his practice to preach under canvas. A pastor who gave 96 hours to the whole counsel of God. A believer in an Iranian detention cell who refused to sign a lie. These are revival people. You can be one too. You do not need a tent or a pulpit. You need a yielded heart and a willingness to say: God, use me in this moment.

Lord, we thank You that You are a God who revives. We see the fires burning in fields and fairgrounds across America and we ask You to fan them — protect this move, multiply it, and use it to bring in the great harvest this nation has been praying for. We thank You for men like Pastor Matt Olson who give everything they have to Your Word. Raise up more like him. And we lift our persecuted family in Iran before Your throne — every believer whose church is threatened, whose freedom is at risk, whose name is in a government file. You know every one of them. Sustain them, hide them, and let the underground church of Iran continue to grow in ways no regime can stop. Lord, make us revival people. Use us in this hour. We are available. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
